lyrics
Let’s kill punk. it deserves to die.
Destroying shit. Ruining lives.
Gotta kill it now before it's too late
Gotta kill punk before it kills me.
What have I done? What have I chosen?
Why couldn’t I be happy with a white picket fence?
A little rose garden where the kids like to play.
Instead I opted for this kingdom of dirt.
I killed punk. It deserved to die.
Had to kill punk before it killed me.
What have I done? What have I chosen?
I’ll never be happy with this suit and tie
Pay the late fees. Drop off the kids today
Now I’m still left with this kingdom of dirt.

My favorite albums of 2023, #6.
The bastard child of early Venom and Black Flag, with just a touch of The Wipers' pop instincts. Amazingly underproduced, it sounds like it was recorded on a boombox. Levrikon

This is one of those albums where I have a different favourite track every week, and it's been like that since the release that is now a year ago. What a massive album, starting out with fist pumping chants and gradually getting more electro but always with that punk grit attitude. Top 3 of 2023. Gijs van Soest
With guitar work that recalls the highest heights of Polvo, New Lands brings an emo approach to post-punk fretwork. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 15, 2023
Despite the New Orleans punks' gritty realism, glimmers of hope still manage to peek through, positing that change is actually possible. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 9, 2022
Spritely guitar-centric indie pop from this New Orleans musician recalls the glory days of Darla and Kindercore Records. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 15, 2019
